So I made a video. Ok, it's a month or two old [I hate editing them]. I draw random character names out of a cup and decide what kind of relationship they might have. There's nothing spoiler-y, so no worries, if you've not read the books the characters are from. 

Basically, if you miss the old days of weird book posts that exist for zero reason, this is for you.

Every Breath by Ellie Marney // book review video

I finally recorded a book video. Yay. [Such quality.] I actually shot this at the beginning of the summer, but video editing is a pain since I know the quality won't be as good as I want it to be because I lack 

1) a good camera

2) a good place to shoot

3) good video editing software

4) good video editing skills


 

So yeah, all I know how to do is turn on my phone and talk to it. And even that is questionable since talking is hard. Really though, I wasn't feeling well while videoing this, so there's times when I gather my words for too long and have a coughing break. So please excuse that and the sunlight's game of hide-and-seek.

Vlog: book review Blood Red Road by Moira Young

It's another review! I really, really hope you read this book if you haven't because it is so fantabulous! During the video, the sun came up and tired to obliterate my face. . .Also, our army of cats surrounded me. 

I decided to use some of that blank space on the sidebars. So let me know if the extra text was a distracting nuisance.

I feel really bad because just as I was uploading the video I realized I spelled the author's name wrong. D:  It's Moira. Truly. Sorry.

There were too many dystopian desert photo options at my disposal.

So this one's irrelevant to the book. But I thought it was cool anyways.

What do you think about stand alones vs. series? Which do you prefer and why? Also, have you read Blood Red Road?

You should go check her blog out! She's taken a short break to work on her novel (the best reason ever!). But you should definitely read some of her older posts. She writes some awesome poetry!

Oh! Oh, there's this really cool series on youtube called Mind the Gap. It's hilarious and awesome! A good way to kick off the day (it rhymes, people!). Here's the intro video.

Vlog: review of One by Leigh Ann Kopans

Hi! It's incredibly early in the morning. But I plan on going back to sleep, so no worries there. XD Here's another book review via video. I tried to keep it a little short this time. 

This book is super good! I hope you read it. I did forget to mention that it had some language in it. Not a lot, to my remembrance. I'd say not any major bad words. But I'm sure what "major bad words" are exactly. I mean, aren't they just bad? I didn't know bad came in different degrees. Aw, well. It is a good story nonetheless.

Have you read One? Was this review helpful? (I'm still trying to get my review skills together, because it doesn't seem I have any, uh, skills.)

           I did another video. This time I recited some poems for you guys. I'm not quite as satisfied with this one as with the other one. There were some lighting issues and I realize that I talk rather fast. But I'll just remember that for next time. ;)  Hope you guys like it.
