Hi everyone. Sorry about the disappearance. School happened and then school took over. And I am currently ignoring it.

Ages ago Jessie from Barefoot in the Snow tagged me for the Liebester Award. I'm sorry. I feel very bad that I am just now getting to it. But it does involve question about The Book Thief.  (If you have not read The Book Thief, then you must at your first convenience. And if not convenient, then read it anyways.)

Thank you, Jessie. (these are some good questions by of way)

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where is the first place you'd go? Why?

Everywhere! Okay, I'm going to say Alaska. It's beautiful there.
#2
If you could travel anywhere in any universe (fictional or otherwise), what specific place would you visit first? Why?

Lothlorien in Middle Earth. Tree dwelling elves, need I say more?

Do you have a favorite Bible story/character/verse? Who/what is it?
Psalm 27:14 "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord" (NIV).

Would you ever consider eating octopus ink pasta with squid?
(I'm a bit obsessed with this question right now...)

I just googled what that looked like. . . Uh, I think I would consider it just to see what'd it taste like. Perhaps...

Have you read The Book Thief? What is your opinion on it? Favorite quote/scene?

Yes! I love The Book Thief. The characters were done incredibly well. The style was amazing! I love how it was written from Death's viewpoint. That was the best part. Death's voice was unexpected and original. Death would give the ending away, but I think that made it all the more suspenseful. Also Hans Huberman was the best. And Death, did I mention Death?

As for quotes:

A Definition Not Found in the Dictionary
Not Leaving: an act of trust and love, often deciphered by children

The Only Thing Worse Than a Boy Who Hates You
A boy who loves you

You see?
Even death has a heart.

If you suddenly found yourself in a do-or-die situation, what would it be?
What single item would you want to have with you?

The situation? I haven't a clue. There's no telling what I'd get myself into.
The item: my pocket knife
(Macgyver is one of the best old TV series, in case you didn't know)

Quotes are lovely things. I've got an entire blog devoted to them.
Post a favorite or three [for me to use].

"People can lose their lives in libraries, they ought to be warned." - Saul Bellow

"Talent is overrated. The ability to get tough, stick with it, and produce words beats lazy literary giftedness every time."- James Scott Bell

"You're wrong," I say, "We may both be bad, but there's a huge difference between us- I'm not content with being this way." - Tris, Insurgent by Veronica Roth

"Yes, growing up is highly overrated. Just be an author." - Neil Gailman

"Fear God Alone"- Divergent by Veronica Roth
(Tobias has this written on his wall where he can see it when he wakes up, I might have it placed similarly. . .)

What is your favorite type of blog post to read?
{Beautiful People, Stacking the Shelves, ramblings, [original] writings,
character posts...}
I love the Beautiful People posts, snippets, and rants. Rants are fun, as well as hilarious coversations between bloggers and/or their charcters.

What's the first thing you do in the morning, after you attempt to wake up and actually get out of bed?

I read my Bible. I try to do that everyday, and if I don't do it first, I end up forgetting about it. :P  And then a glass of chocolate milk is in order.

What is the worst book you've ever read?

Um, I don't know. I think I'm just going to generalize and say depressing books. The ones that do not reconcile themselves from time to time with a funny scene or something to lighten the mood. The kind that leave me depressed for weeks.

Can you swim? Ocean, lake, creek, or pool?

My swimming skills aren't anything to brag about. I probably haven't swam in a year or two. But the ocean is the best place to be if you're going swimming.  :)

I'm not going to tag anyone, but:

Have any of you read The Book Thief? Any thoughts? Favorite quotes?
And if you found or self in a do-or-die situation what object would you most want with you?
